OUR SWEET ZOOT IS PASSED

The past few weeks our Zoot has been looking not so healthy, and passed away today. We will miss you!

OUR NEW ADDITION

Nick holding onto our new dog, Brode. He is a 10 pound Chihuahua, Shih Tzu mix. Surprisingly calm and sweet. He is 5 years old, fully grown. LOVES to cuddle. He is a perfect fit to our little family. Nick and Brode wear each other out. When Nick goes to school Brode takes a nap. He has been so fun.

ROOT CANAL DONE AND FEELING GOOD

I have been waiting for this pain to be gone for months!! And been terrified for the root canal, hearing horror story after another. Music is usually a way good relaxer/distracter for me, and I was planning on bringing the Zune with me. Unfortunately... the Zune was all but dead. Anyway, I get there to Jones Dental in Pleasant Grove and they get me right in.

I have got to tell you, laughing gas is the key to a root canal. Ha ha. I felt the shot just a tad and the rest, honestly I could have slept if I had wanted to. I did not feel any pain. Even now!! They said I would probably not be able to eat solids for a few days, a week or so. But I have not had to change my eating habits at all.

Lucky me, I may be the one in a million to have a good experience with a root canal. I am so glad the worry is over. And especially the pain!

SO SAD

It is crazy what is going on in the world right now. It breaks my heart to hear of things like the Japan earthquake/tsunami. WHICH I am sooo grateful Nate and Chelsea are no longer in Hawaii. Right now, the wait for a flight back to the main land is booked until Sunday. The world is getting crazier.

It's been a few years since I've had my hair this short, and I am very excited for the change. Wow, I HATE taking pictures of myself, lol.

DYING FOR SLEEP

But sleep seems to be the last thing I can do. At least until the sun comes up. It seems like it's been a few years now that I have had some trouble, but the past 9 months or so has been getting worse and worse. Clark has been an angel, working with my crazy sleep pattern. Lol, I guess we all have a funny sleeping pattern. Hopefully one of these days we will all get back on track. Well, wish me luck sleeping.
