Tonights the night! Christmas is so fun as a parent. Our December has been fun, lots of snow. We are lucky to have Jess and Chris and Baby Connor here. Nate's working his way home from Afghanistan and should make it to his sweet wife and girl today! We have had 2 fun family parties. Christmas Eve is always a special time with the family. And we are anxiously awaiting to see if Santa will come to our house tonight. Ha ha, as Nick would say "If we're a good boy..."

HUGE thanks to my Hubby for painting the room with me months ago, and to my Mom and Sister for helping with the border. It was so fun, and it turned out so cute!! Nicks reaction was priceless :)

NICK'S FAVORITE "JESUS SONG" RIGHT NOW

Nick is loving this song right now. He is so funny, any churchy songs he calls "Jesus songs". He likes to sing, it is so sweet. I just love my little guy. What a sweetheart we have. We are very blessed to have Nick as our child and in our lives.

THROUGH THE WORST OF IT, I HOPE

So, after over a week of being sick, I finally pulled through. And I thought everyone else was safe... Until yesterday. Clark was so sick! I felt awful! That poor boy has nothing else in him to come out. But today was much better, and hopefully it will continue to get better and better. Now we are just praying that little Nick doesn't catch it as well. Anyway, that's for all the prayers and thoughts and nummy soup (Grandma :)) We will be healthy again before we know it!

OUR POOR SWEET CLARK

Clark had been simply amazing this week. I was sick end of last week. And got something terrible again on Monday, and today am still feeling very... not better. I think its just a super bad cold. Even worse. I have lost my voice almost completely again :( And the sad thing is, I think Nick is catching what I had. Poor guy can hardly breathe and is just wanting to cuddle and sleep.

My Hubby has been so sweet though. This whole week he had gotten off work a little early to take care of our little guy while I could rest, even though he comes home tired and ready for bed. On Nick's school days Clark would get him all ready and out the door. And even would wake up early from his sleep to make sure I was doing ok. What a good husband I have. I am so lucky!

It was funny today I was trying to tell him something and he gets this grin and with a scratchy voice mumbled something back to me. What a punk! He totally made fun of what little voice I have left. It honestly made me laugh, which made him laugh too, cuz my voice. Anyway, I am very grateful for him.

And hopefully by next post we will all be better!

This was such a cute idea! And all the kids had a blast at the pirate party for Easton. Also, this is a quick sneak peak at Nick's Halloween costume as well.

It was also fun to see Mema at the party as well.

We have been so lucky to have Easton and Nixon come play with Nick a few times recently. Easton and Nick are so fun with each other. They were way fun playing with this race track.

And this little Nixon steals my heart every time I see him. He is such a sweetheart.

JUST AN UPDATE

Time seems to be flying lately. The summer has quickly past and the busy fall is here. Nick has started back up his Preschool at the Elementary. He seems to be doing quite well this year, and he is talking so much more than last year. His tutors and teachers are very pleased, as are we :) It is so fun to hear him talking so much, some in full sentences. And to hear the things that he gets excited over. It is just fun to watch him grow and learn. I love when he comes home and talks about his friends and teachers and what hes doing. I just have the cutest kid ever!

I am doing well. Having some spare time during the week is nice. Being motivated is the hard part, lol. I have been busy though, I actually have been helping some friends with a company they have started up. And I have been in charge of the Social Media aspect of it. It is fun to do. And it has been a while since I've felt... important. Like in the business world. Lol. If that makes sense? Anyway, I am enjoying helping out.

Clark is doing well too. He is still working nights, and getting busier there too. They are very short handed on nights right now. But he is good at what he does and is trying hard to stand out. I am very proud of him.

You know what I love. 3 days off in a row :) We are lucky too, Nick has school on Fridays and Clark also has Fridays off. So we actually get some time together. We have little date days! We actually do like fun little things, the other day we had a picnic at the park. And last week we went to D.I. and picked out our silly Halloween outfits. And it is just refreshing to be able to have a few hours with my hubby.

Anyway, no pictures this post. But I will try and be better at that. As for now, I'm going to stop jabbering.

Suspicious stuffed pony blown up outside school

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities blew up a stuffed pony _ determined to be a "suspicious device" _ after it was found outside a central Florida school. The Orange County Sheriff's Office reported that the toy was found near the Waterbridge Elementary School Tuesday morning.

No one was allowed in or out of the building while bomb disposal experts destroyed the stuffed animal. It was ultimately deemed "non-threatening."

No injuries were reported.

BIRTHDAY SPOTLIGHT AT PRESCHOOL

Nick came home really excited. His sweet teachers gave him a birthday present too!

But right after the first picture was taken, he turned his hat like Daddy :)

A BIT OF NICK'S 4TH BIRTHDAY

Well, here it is! Nick is a big 4 year old now. I can not believe how fast time flies. We sure love this little boy of ours, and were excited to spend the day spoiling our Nick.

Last night, Clark and I snuck into Nick's room and put this up. This morning he ran into our room so excited, trying to explain what was on his wall. It was so cute!

Then, we decided to treat our little guy to chocolate chip pancakes.

Then we headed out to the Trafalga they have in Lehi. It was so fun to have Grandma & Grandpa Call, and Aunt Britt there with us. Nick had a lot of fun there. Lots of stuff for him to do.

He had lots of fun on the swinging boat ride too.

But his favorite... was the roller coaster! The first time he had the front seat so he had a good view. Second ride, he's a natural with his arms all ready ;)

After our fun day, we came home and decided it would be fun to take a quick dip in the pool. Then came home and had a happy birthday cupcake. Nummy!

Nick excited to go on the bus again. He loved his first days of school, and came home excited to talk about it. The first day he told me they ate french fries and watched movies... Which I don't think was super accurate, haha. But today he came home and said they sang songs and colored, which sounds more like it ;) Either way I am glad he is having fun and doing well.

This year Nick is going to the P.M. school, three times a week. So we are so glad to see him learning and talking so much and am very grateful for this great opportunity that he has.

ZEEZ & ZOOT

Nick loves his hamsters. They are so fun to play with.

Zeez is the one with Zebra srtipes, and Zoot is the charcoal color. Zeez is quite the mean one, she is always pushing Zoot around, lol. However, Zoot is quite the drama queen. But they are really fun to watch.

SPUR OF THE MOMENT GET AWAY

Well. We had been planning on going camping all week. But the day we had planned on it was raining like crazy. And I was totally sad. But around 1 or so, I decided I wasn't going to let the rain stop us. So we packed up and make a quick stop at the grocery store and we were on the road. We decided to go to Moab, and I am so glad we did. Look at the views! Luckily we had missed the rain there, but it was still pretty damp. The night wasn't that cold, and the next day was beautiful!! I am lucky to have a sweet Hubby who can deal with my constant change of plans. We had a really fun time.

Nick had gone to the dentist right before we left, and this green balloon was BRILLIANT. It kept him happy for so long. He was laughing and content the whole ride there.
