DARING NICKOLAS

Holy cow!! Nick is getting funner and funner at the park. We've gone a few times this week and he just gets so excited. He LOVES the slides. No, not the little ones... the BIG ONES!! He walks all the way up the big stairs. Sits himself down, and scoots himself off the slide. Each time he has the biggest grin on his face. He is such a brave boy! I always wonder how the other kids will treat him at the park with his glasses... It would just break my heart to see kids making fun of them. But to my surprise (and relief) there has been nothing like that! Today, one little boy saw Nick and watched him for a minute and said to me "he's cute." and then went on his way. LOL. It just made me happy. We forgot to bring his sippy with us this time so we brought him to the fountain go get a drink. He thought it was so fun. By the time we were done... About 5 min later, he was soaken clear down his belly! I was laughing so hard. What a funny kid.
