SAYING GOODBYE, AGAIN...

Jess and Chris were also able to leave Missouri for a while to join us for the wedding. We had so much fun with them here. And we are going to miss them like crazy. We love you guys!! Hope it's not too long before we see you again.

We were so lucky to have Nate and Chelsea (& baby to be) here for Ashley's wedding. We got to do so many fun things with them. I can't believe they are heading home so soon. It was so fun to have you both here. And someday we will make it out to Hawaii to see you. Love you three!!

My sister, Ashley was married yesterday! It was a beautiful HOT wedding. The Bountiful Temple was just amazing. And Will, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!! We love you both.

SICK BOY IN MY ARMS

Our little Nickolas has never been one to snuggle. Even when he was really little, he was always busy doing anything but snuggling. Although, when Nick is sick... all he wants to do is be in Mom's and Dad's arms. I was sick for a few days last week, and I think Nick must have caught something from me. He has a small fever. But I can't help but love when he slows down a bit. We gave him a bath, and read him a book. And then... He laid in my arms! Hopefully he will get feeling better soon. But until then, keep up the snuggles!!

NICKS NEW CHAIR

Doesn't he look like he owns this chair?? This has got to be one of the funnest things we have bought him. He had played with in nonstop. He is so funny. I was talking on the phone sitting in the rocker chair that we have, and he found his toy phone and sat in his chair as if he were chatting away too. What a smart boy we have!!

ZUNE

I feel like I've been spoiled! I have been wanting an ipod/zune for a REALLY long time. So after a few years of talking about it and asking around for peoples opinions on which one to get... we finally got one!! We got a 8gb ZUNE. It is red (the perfect color). I've got to be honest, this makes working out and rollerblading just that much better. And to be honest, it will probably keep me motivated to keep up on it too. Anyway, I just love our zune. And as you can imagine, Nick loves it too. He is always curious what is in Mom or Dad's ear, and will do anything to find out. I think he's gonna be a music lover like his Mom and Dad.

UH-OH

So Nick said his first word this morning!! I was feeding him some breakfast and accidental dripped some on his high chair. "Uh-oh", I said. And wiped it up. Then as I was giving him another bite he said "uh-oh"! I was so excited I almost cried. Then he said it again. Then I called Clark in the room to hear him. And of course Nick didn't say it again... until Clark wasn't there. I'm sure we will be hearing a lot more of it the next little while. My little boy is getting so big!!
