Through the eyes of Nick

Pictures Nick had taken on his camera. I actually am quite surprised how level his pictures are.

Pictures it is. Here comes a big wave of our summer...

Ooook. Here are lots of fun pictures :) However, I am too lazy to put them in order or even group them how they should be, lol. But we did have such a fun summer and are looking very forward to this fall and winter season.

Nick and Clark swimming in our pool. Nick was a lot more courageous this year. It was fun.

This was our sky when we went out camping. It never rained, but I loved this picture.

One of Nick's favorite hobbies, taking pictures.

Biking up the canyon.

More swimming.

This was SO FUNNY. We did a tin foil dinner up the canyon with Clark's family, and the little ones had a lot of fun... Lol. Can you see Easton's arm behind Nick? Boys will be boys :)

Too cute.

And this was cute. This was just today actually. My Mom picked Nick and I up to go visit Brittany at her class. She is a French teacher in SLC now. And he was so excited he grinned like this almost the whole way there.

Britt's way cool desk.

My cute Sis.

Well, this is the only modest picture I had of Marenn, lol. They had so much fun running through sprinklers.

Did I mention, Britt is an amazing Aunt?

In our camping tent.

It was fun. There were two boys who camped right across from us, and they all had fun riding their bikes together.

Our camping place that we love. I think we've gone here 3 times now?

Petting zoo!! We have done this twice this summer. These pictures are the time we went with the Bischoffs. It was really fun for Nick to have cousin time.

Nick and Easton on the wagon ride.

May have posted this one before? But I love when Nick and Clark play together. Too cute, right?

Sporting the glasses.

Soccer team 2011.

Nick's exam at PCH. Such a brave boy.

Wearing Dad's England hat.

On a walk with Brode.

Petting zoo again, look at this crazy bird!

Riding the horse.

Britt's graduation dinner. Cute picture with Nick, Marenn and Haisley.

My little goof, lol.

Stealing Daddy's hat.

I think this was taken on our way home from Mema's. We visited her down in St. George over the 4th of July. It was so fun to spend time with her.

And this is playing games with Mama.

Kidney Stones - What a Weekend

Thursday Clark woke up early to severe pain on his left side of his tummy. We rushed to the AF Hospital E.R. and were checked in by 8 am. Diagnosis: Kidney Stones. We spent many hours there, and were finally on our way home around 2. They gave him some strong meds for pain and nausea... Which both made him dizzy and nauseous. It was so hard to see my husband in so much pain. I can not even imagine how he felt!

HOWEVER...

We are happy to say that the pain is almost gone for good. Clark passed his stone around 12 pm today. Thanks to everyone who helped out and for the prayers and thoughts.

I really don't want to get into the birds and the bees already...

Things I'm getting really good at saying...

"Because I said so"

"4 more bites"

"5 more minutes"

"Nick, you can get yourself dressed..."

Results Finally!!!!

We got Nick's MRI results back yesterday and all came back normal. Which is a good thing. So for now, were just gonna have another appointment with him in 2 months or so and go from there. Again thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. We are so lucky to have so many family and friends who care for us.

Still waiting on results.

We thank you for all the prayers and thoughts on behalf of Nick's MRI. We are still patiently waiting to hear back from the Dr. As soon as we know more, I will be sure to post.

Eye Update...

Nick had his eye exam under anesthesia today, all in all things went well. The retina is strong and healthy, which is one of the major things Dr. Hoffman has been working on since Nick was 3 months old. However some of the testing he did today showed that his right eye is possibly not connecting to the brain. Because of that, Nick is going in for an MRI on the 16th. So, please, we would appreciate all the thoughts and prayers for Nick. And hopefully we can find out more about what is going on with his eye.

Nick just called me "Mommy Ray". He totally makes me laugh.
