WE'VE RAISED A LITTLE ATHLETE

I think Nick takes after his Uncle Nate. Nate was big into sports growing up, especially baseball. Lately, all Nick has wanted to do is play catch with the ball. Believe it or not, this boy has got a good arm! And quite good aim too. The best part about it is, half the time he throws the ball, he is already running to get it! Which comes in handy when it doesn't come to Mama. Lol. I love watching Nick grow, and discover what he loves. He is my sweetheart!

SICK DAY

Poor Nick has been sick the past few days. At first his temp was 102, but has dropped over the past day 1/2. I have to admit, it was kind of nice taking a "sick day" with him... We both spent a lot of time on the couch. Last night, he wouldn't sleep all that well. He wouldn't lay in his bed, his crib, our bed or even the couch. All he wanted was to be held!! So cute!! However, he didn't fall to sleep till 5 am. BUT! I thought he would get a good rest in after that, right?? Nope, he was up again just after 8. But, its not all bad. He was playful and energetic all day! Luckily whatever he had is done with. Now, I hope we get good sleep tonight.

ADVICE PLEASE!!

We're in for a long week or two. So, our little guy has now discovered how to climb out of his crib. Tonight was his first night in the big boy bed. It took us 3 hours to get him to finally conk out! So, all you mothers out there who have done the crib/bed transition... ADVICE PLEASE!!

Nick's bald again. Honestly, we've lost count on how many haricuts we've given him. For some reason, he pulls the mullet look a lot.

ANOTHER FUNNY NICK STORY...

So, bath time tonight... He was cracking me up! Nick was standing up in the tub, then jumped to his bum. Which of coarse made a fun HUGE splash. For those of you who know me well, know I laugh at everything. Which isn't always good, esp when it comes to discipline because then Nick thinks I'm not serious. Well, I just busted up in laughter! So Nick, decided to keep doing it. Over and over, like 10 times. I wanted to tell Nick to not do it, but I could not talk past my laughter! So, eventually I called for backups. So finally, with Clark's help we were able to finish bath time. Mama was soaken through, and the floor needed 2 towels. But, it was good for a laugh!

STYLIN' BOY

We just think Nick is so cute in his little outfit. We LOVE the vest and shirt. (Thanks Uncle Chris and Aunt Jess).

Clark if free of BRACES (after a year 1/2)!! Apparently, he has known for a few months, but it was news to me! I was very excited and suprised. It looks great. Thank you sooo much Grandma and Grandpa Call!
