CAMPING AT PAYSON LAKE

A few weeks back Jessie and Chris were in town from Missouri so we decided to do a little camping trip. We had a fun time. Nick had a blast! He loves the outdoors. And he slept amazing! What a good little boy we have.
Finding his own path.

We are in so much trouble already...

Jessie and Chris, working hard ;)

Dad and Nick.

We were lucky to have the place almost to ourselves. He had so much fun on his bike.

Ugh, I hate camping pics...

PARK TIME

Nick has been loving all the park time we have gotten in. It is his favorite thing to do here. We have got 2 parks right next to us, so this is what we do all day!

HOGLE ZOO ONCE AGAIN

It was the perfect day to go to the zoo. Not too hot, not too crowded. Nick gets funner each time we come. Although, he is much more interested in the trucks, bikes and strollers we see. It is fun to see him learn more about the animals. I can't believe how much he has grown! Not many pictures of the animals this time...
Our cute little guy.

Nick dragged me to the carousel and loved it! Really.

He was so curious about this.

ON MY MIND...

So we've moved this this wonderful area and we have so much fun here. Nick and I love going to the park all the time. The other day there was this boy who was at the park too. He kind of gravitated to us and started making conversation. He was 8, and was a really friendly boy. If we were by the swings, so was he. If Nick wanted to slide, so would he. He started saying that he was in foster care. And he wanted a bike, but his foster Mom wouldn't get him one because he wouldn't be there long. When he said that, my heart sunk. How sad? Not necessarily the bike, but that a child would know so much. And I don't know the whole story for sure, but I just hope that boy is loved. Every child should know they are loved! He was such a sweet boy and I hope wherever he ends up he will be happy.

PLAYIN' IN THE DIRT UP THE CANYON

We decided to do one last "convenient" dinner up the canyons today. The weather was perfect! And suprisingly not busy at all. Nick is definatly growing into a little boy who very much so has a mind of his own. We were there not even 5 minutes and his hands and face were covered with barbique chips and dirt. It was the cutest thing! He loved every minute of it. It was a fun evening. We are really going to miss the beautiful canyon being only minutes away.
Playing all around.

Barbique chips were a hit.

Nick was even kind enough to share the chips with Grandpa.

PUT YOUR ARMS UP!...

This is Nick's favorite game to play lately. And he is so funny playing it too. We have a little guy who loves anticipation. Oh, he makes me laugh. If you ever see him, make sure to say "Put your arms up!..."

NICK'S FIRST OUCHIE

Nick skinned his knee for the first time today. And he didn't even cry! But I think he is gonna love the band aid thing pretty soon here... What a brave boy I have!

~4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY~

Thanks Honey for making these last 4 years amazing!!

I love you so much!!

(It was actually yesterday, but I didn't get around to blogging till now :P Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for watching Nick for us! He came home and took a long nap... and is now up playing at 11. Haha I am glad he had a good time!)

MOVING, MOVING, MOVING!

We are moving to Eagle Mountain in like a week! We just started thinking about it like a month 1/2 ago and everything just worked out so smoothly. We are excited to be in this area. There are loads of kids for Nick to play with. Parks everywhere! And no stores so I wont spend money! Hahaha. Nah, we are very excited for this change and can't wait for us to move.
This is our area.

We have the bottom level with the french doors.
