Sickness and My Birthday

This has been a fun, sick week. Our poor family cant seem to shake this sickness. First Nick had the flu, then gave it to Clark. I luckily didn't catch it, however caught a bad cold, and passed it along to Nick. So hopefully we can stop sending it around and get back to feeling normal.

Yesterday was my 29th birthday. And it was so fun! My sweet husband and my parents have been planning a surprise for weeks now. Last night I filled myself up with DayQuil and headed out to see the amazing performance of Michael McLean's The Forgotten Carols. This has been a favorite Christmas story of our family's for many years. I remember all of my Sisters sleeping in the same room on Christmas Eve and listening to this story on disc. And it just bring warm memories to me. It was a very sweet birthday present. Thanks to everyone who made it special for me!

I am so excited for tomorrow as well, we are going to see the Temple Square lights with some of Clark's family! It will be so fun. Just pray we don't have the crazy wind...

16- I love that he teaches Nick new things, (Nick is a natural with computers already, and games)

18- I love that we have silly traditions, Monty Python while setting up the Christmas tree, Bombay House for birthdays, go somewhere new for vacations...

19- He is a very good role model for Nick. Nick loves to act like Clark, its cute.

22- Clark is very sincere and open with his feelings with me, be them good or bad.

25- Clark loves doing new things with Nick, the Aviary, the Zoo, the Aquarium, Museums. Its so fun.

26- He also loves night time routine with Nick, Clark always loves to read books, say prayers and sing songs before He leaves to work.

27- Clark helps me with my DUMB COMPUTER PROBLEMS!! Ha ha.

A BIT OF NICK'S 4TH BIRTHDAY

Well, here it is! Nick is a big 4 year old now. I can not believe how fast time flies. We sure love this little boy of ours, and were excited to spend the day spoiling our Nick.

Last night, Clark and I snuck into Nick's room and put this up. This morning he ran into our room so excited, trying to explain what was on his wall. It was so cute!

Then, we decided to treat our little guy to chocolate chip pancakes.

Then we headed out to the Trafalga they have in Lehi. It was so fun to have Grandma & Grandpa Call, and Aunt Britt there with us. Nick had a lot of fun there. Lots of stuff for him to do.

He had lots of fun on the swinging boat ride too.

But his favorite... was the roller coaster! The first time he had the front seat so he had a good view. Second ride, he's a natural with his arms all ready ;)

After our fun day, we came home and decided it would be fun to take a quick dip in the pool. Then came home and had a happy birthday cupcake. Nummy!

CELEBRATING (A FEW DAYS LATER)

Poor Clark works a funny schedule, so it didn't work for us to party for his birthday until today. But we had so much fun! We went and ate at Panda Express, one of Clark's favorite places to eat. And then we decided to bowl at the Jack & Jill's in Lehi. It was such a blast. It was Nicks first time bowling, and he liked it quite well. It was fun to do something for our Clark-o. We love you honey!!

I ALWAYS THOUGH 30 WOULD BE MY SCARY YEAR...

Turns out it's 27!!

Yep, today was my birthday and I was spoiled this year! This is me decked out with my new stuff. Hat, gloves, winter coat, a Christmas moose, Martinelli's and Cella's chocolates. I was able to do lunch with my Mom and Sister today, and that was so fun! Thanks everyone for all the phone calls and messages. :)

Nick absolutely loves this moose grandma gave us! He is so funny. He was walking around with it the other day, and the thing is his same size! He loves it, even gives it goodnight kisses. Lol. What a cutie I have.

Ready for Christmas! After 4 years of being in charge of seasonal at Robert's Crafts. The holidays were just a hectic time of the year that was only enjoyed AFTER new years. It has now been over 3 years that I have have had to work. And I am finally starting to enjoy Christmas again! We even got the tree up before Thanksgiving. Nick loves the tree, any lights he sees anywhere he calls "Christmas tree" Its funny. We have 2 jingle bells hidden on the tree too that Nick loves to find. It's gonna be a fun holiday with a 3 year old.

And after 4 1/2 years of marriage, we finally got STOCKINGS! Lol, we just kinda never got around to it. And we decided it would be fun to start. Well, we are loving the season already and hope that everyone else is too.

It is true. Our little guy had a birthday!! I can hardly believe he is this grown up. We had a really fun day to celebrate. We love you Nick!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARK-O!! (ONE WEEK LATE)

ONE YEAR OLDER AND WISER TOO (...HOPEFULLY)

Today I turned 26. I had such a fun day! Clark-o let me sleep in a bit. My cute boys woke me up and breakfast was all ready for me. They made me waffles (one of my favorite breakfasts). i took pics of most the activities. Thanks to everyone who sent b-day wishes to me. You are all so thoughtful. I'm glad to have you in my life! And a special thanks to my WONDERFUL HUSBAND for a great birthday. Clark and Nick got out early this morning and surprised me with a beautiful flower and Cella's chocolates!! My favorite Christmas treat ever!

Ashley came over yesterday for a bit. It was fun to have her here.

One of our favorite birthday traditions is to go to The Bombay House. We both fell in love Indian food after we ate here. The atmosphere is so fun there. Great service. And AMAZING FOOD!

THE BIRTHDAY DAY

It was two years ago today that our little Nickolas was born! (What better day than labor day, right??) And now two years have already flown by so fast. He is growing so much! We are very blessed to have this sweet little boy in our lives.
