Easter Fun

Nick's Easter basket. Nick found it under the kitchen sink!

He left a Truck and Tractor!

And he left Clark and I a bowl of Eater treats :)

The Easter Bunny also left us a Egg Coloring Kit. We had so much fun dying the eggs!

Nicks just so cute. He had a blast.

Pinterest Projects

So, my sister Ashley got me hooked on Pinterest. Its so fun. And it's kept me busy. Here's a few things I've been up to.

Fell in love with this Shakespeare quote. Framed it above our bed.

Lol, eventually we will get pictures in there.

Dinner schedule. This was so fun. Its a metal sheet behind, and everything is just stuck on with magnets. Which is great cuz I love changing things around.

I made Nick a bracelet with my phone number on it. Brilliant for big crowds, like water parks, airports and such.

A oil painting I started for our bedroom. Its not complete, I've only spent about 5 or 6 hours on it. But eventually the background will be a bit lighter, and the flowers and dots will be black. I'm excited to get on it again.

A dream catcher I started actually about 2 years ago while we were driving home from St. George. I added the feathers the other day and hung it by Nick's bed.

All About Nick

Nick loves the outside. It's ideal that we have the bottom floor.

Nick with Grandma, writing an "N" with his green balloon.

Nick playing with trucks, jeeps, and dirt. What a guy :)

Having fun with chalk.

My little Indian.

Nick has been practicing writing letters. Its so fun to see him learn!

More name.

Alphabet.

More practicing.

Kinda Random Stuff From the Phone

Ha ha, Clark loves this. It's my picture when I call him.

Random Christmas and Winter I'm Finally Getting Around To

Waiting for the bus.

Nick looking at the SLC Temple. Visiting Temple Square 2011.

AND Nick got sick and puked on my heating blanket. So this is me trying to stay warm. Ha ha.

Family picture at Shara's House I believe.

St. Patty's Day, Fun With Cousins

We just love watching these cute boys! It's so fun to have cousins close. Nick and Easton are 5, and Nixon is 2. Such fun. Boys are a blast.

I love this expression on Easton. So cute. He looks so grown up.

Cute Nixon peeking through.

We had so much fun making a hut and watching Bolt.

Clark's Remote Tech Support Web Site

My Husband loves what he does. I love that!! I am so proud of him :) He has been working for weeks and has finally finished a working tech site for people who need computer assistance, or just has simple questions. We are really excited about this and hope it can become successful. So please, please, please spread the word, and if you hear of anyone who needs help send them to this site. We have added the icon to the side of the blog which will link straight to it. Keep in mind he will use remote log in for most things. So it really doesn't matter where you live, he will be able to assist. Feel free to have a look, and thanks for all your support!!

"Following the Leader!"

My boy cracks me up. We are looking at all sorts of cars/trains/trucks, anything. And Nick saw the picture and got a big grin and said "Oh boy, following the leader!!" It made me laugh.

Encouraging Our Boy

I love Nick with all of my heart. However... He is the hardest person to motivate and encourage to obey. For 3 years, we have been working with the same 3 preschool teachers. And for 3 years we have been discussing new, different ways to catch Nicks eye and help his behavior. It has been a challenge for sure. But I sit and think of all the things our little boy has gone through in his little life, and you know what? I would probably be tired of being told what to do too. Ha ha. I have been talking to family a lot about this. My Mom said something the other day that made me stop and think. We are getting really good at telling Nick his bad consequences, but not really hyping up the GOOD consequences. Clark and I talked a bit about what we could do. And I like to think we don't spoil Nick too much, but we thought it was the right time and the right way to use it to hopefully encourage him to be a little better each day.

Nick doing great on his patching!

Today we all went to Walmart and picked out a blue basket and a green basket. We picked out things such as, stickers, sketch book, dollar cars/tractors, balls, candy. And a few bigger things like, stars for his roof, etch sketch, army guys, paint set and stuff like that. And this is how it will work... We will keep a daily chart with stickers. Each day he is trying really hard to be good and obey, he will get to put a sticker on the calendar and pick a small toy out of the blue basket. And at the end of the week if he has been trying hard at school and at home, if he has stickers on every day he gets to pick a toy out of the green basket.
He seemed really excited about it and had a lot of fun picking out his toys. So hopefully this will help a bit. Wish us luck!
